Haymarket

Haymarket along Blackstone Street is one of Boston's oldest institutions, hailing back to the 1830's in the area formerly known as Dock Square. It is open on Thursdays through Saturdays, year round. Italian vendors dominated much of the 20th century. Today, it is more diverse with sellers from Asia, Middle East and South America adding to the mix. Shoppers are just as varied including immigrants, tourists and office workers.
