2015-08 | St. Anthony's Feast Sunday Procession
The 96th St. Anthony’s Feast featured a 10-hour Grand Procession on Sunday, August 30, 2015 bringing the statue of San Antonio to nearly every street in Boston’s North End. In this photo gallery from the start of the procession, the statue emerges from its feast chapel as society members take turns carrying the saint and collecting ribbon donations. As day turns into night, the statue makes several notable stops including Caffe Paradiso and of course, Pizzeria Regina. At the end of the night, a grand finale with confetti raining down ends the Saint Anthony’s Feast. The “Feast of all Feasts,” as described by National Geographic, is organized by San Antonio di Padova da Montefalcione, Inc., also known as the St. Anthony’s Club.
