Jordon River - Mount of Temptation - Jericho

At this point in our trip we head east to the Jordan River, at the site Yardenit, believed to be near where John baptized Jesus. On the drive south through the West Bank, stopping at the Mount of Temptation in the Judean Desert where Jesus was tempted by the devil. Continuing south to Jericho, the oldest city in the world (and famous for its bananas), where we had mass in a church there. We ended the long day at in Jerusalem, which will be the focus in upcoming photo galleries.
